About Us

Our Mission

We are committed to transitioning lives one soul at a time. We decree chains are broken lives to be healed and souls to be saved! We walk in the undeserved, unearned, unmerited favor from God and with God, which is his GRACE. We believe the Word of God and therefore speak His promises concerning our lives and the lives of those we touch, disciple, and minister to.

LEADERS

Pastor Regina Willingham

Pastor Regina Willingham is a wife, mother, pastor, intercessor, and wholesome lover of God’s people. She is an anointed woman of God who ministers with authority and clarity.  She is a native of Athens, Alabama, and attended Little Elk Missionary Baptist Church where she accepted the call to ministry in 1984.

Pastor Regina has dedicated much of her life to leading people to wholeness through prayer, personal development, and spiritual direction. Pastor Regina mentors various women and youth in the community and has been serving in the Prison and Jail ministry for 16+ years. Her objective is to deliver the uncompromising Word of God so that people will be propelled into applying the Word and living it.

After working as an operations manager at FedEx Express for 30+ years, she was called to pursue ministry full time. In May 2016, Pastor Regina, along with Overseer Carl, stepped out in faith to launch into the deep. The ministry was launched in the Family Dollar parking lot located in Decatur, Alabama with a tent and a few chairs. Standing in the heat and praying to God, she spoke God’s Word to the many passing by. From that point, there was no turning back.

Overseer Carl Willingham

Overseer Carl Willingham is a devoted husband, father, intercessor, and encourager. He believes that God deserves excellence in everything that we do and instills that same foundation into everyone that he comes into contact with! He is a true servant leader and is known for his charismatic style of leading. His love for people is observed through his devotion and dedication to everyone he encounters.

Overseer Carl has served in various ministry capacities including Sunday School superintendent, Leader of Youth Ministry, Ushers and Hospitality, Mass Choir Member, Jail and Prison Ministry, and all aspects of Outreach Ministry. His calling at God’s Love Covenant Church is to care for people in a way that brings them the hope and healing of Jesus Christ and to lead others to do the same.
